Burn Bridges

I’m not much on burning bridges…but some never needed to exist in the first place, so when that’s the case:

Second Costume Option

Saved by the Bell cast.

Elliot: Screech

Lisa Turtle:  Kathryn (with a lot of bronzer ;) )

Zack Morris:  Jason

Kelly Kapowski:  Amy (or me)

AC Slator:  Marshall with a Jerry Curl wig (I would have paid to see that)

Jessie:  Me (with crunchy curls wig..hahah) or Amy

Tori (she was a new addition cast member, if you don’t recall):  Heather

Since Amy thought it more appropriate to be the girlfriend of HER boyfriend, aka Zack Morris with Kelly Kapowski, she was going to be Kelly and I was going to go as Jessie, so Marshall and I would have looked something like this (above).

I think my big head is more Kelly Kapowski-ish, but I can def. rock some crunchy jessie fro.  Very reminiscent.

(God I would have loved to work those bangs…..and keds!)

And how PERFECT is Marshall for THIS?!?!

hhaahah, great fun, but it’s back to our very original plan (shhhh, it’s a secret).  It’s still gonna be good.

If I were going solo, I would have been my girl, Rachel Zoe, oversized Dior glasses, rabbit fur vest and all of the gold jewelry I own.  Gahh, maybe next year.

Giving the gift of MY childhood

Going through new vendor catalogues and files at work I ran across this and almost flipped.

These are very reminiscent of the cardboard dollhouses I used to make as a kid.  Man I miss those.  (The handmade dollhouses and tree house blueprints hinted at my designer destiny).  These are, without a doubt, going to go to a few of my younger cousins as Christmas presents, especially the fort!  Who knows, maybe my cardboard inventiveness will rub off and reveal their destinies as well. :) (good thing I get these at cost, I don’t think I could justify a 70.00 cardboard gift!!)

Has anyone ever told you that smoking is bad for you?

Meet Johnny Camelseed

Guy #1 to guy #2, who has just dropped a cigarette: You just littered.
Guy #2: It was a cigarette, that’s not trash!

–Fashion District

Yeah, but it makes you LOOK like trash.

(p.s. I used to smoke…UGH nastiness).

I do miss designing interior architecture, justtt a wee bit.  I don’t know if I could have thought of something this obvious though.  I’m starving.
