Through my ventures I have yet to find a young, cool, great Interior Design social networking website.  There are design sites where us ID’ers can be apart, like Coroflot & design:related, but nothing ID specific.

I stumbled upon Ning.com & thought “Hey, maybe I should just create my own”.  Hmm.  It’s a thought.  Do I really have the time?  Not really.  But would it be a fun task?  SURE.  So, maybe I just will.  & if you would love to help, please, please do.  :)

to keep me organized.

Giving the gift of MY childhood

Going through new vendor catalogues and files at work I ran across this and almost flipped.

 

These are very reminiscent of the cardboard dollhouses I used to make as a kid.  Man I miss those.  (The handmade dollhouses and tree house blueprints hinted at my designer destiny).  These are, without a doubt, going to go to a few of my younger cousins as Christmas presents, especially the fort!  Who knows, maybe my cardboard inventiveness will rub off and reveal their destinies as well. (good thing I get these at cost, I don’t think I could justify a 70.00 cardboard gift!!)

and this print from Binth.  The dewy, slightly chilly weather in the morning leading into sunnier, brighter days reminds me of my fall spent in France.  Le sigh.  Can’t wait to spend new years ‘09/’10 next year in Paris with my love (that’s what we are trying to plan).  Till then…
